Waiting

Somehow, I feel alone. I feel as though i'm drifting apart from my friends. Seldom talk to them, seldom meet and hang out together. Maybe because they're busy with work. Chalet is less than 2 weeks ago. It's too long for me to wait.

I don't feel the need to go online on MSN anymore.

I need to sort out of my thoughts.

I felt that I had a lot ot say but I didn't, maybe because I had too many things on my mind right now.

I don't want to say the wrong things, and then hitting the wrong people, and ultimately I start blaming myself for saying it out in the first place. I don't like to cause unnecessary trouble.

Maybe I'm jealous. Maybe I'm just bored. Maybe I'm just thinking too much. Maybe i'm blogging because I want to say something out but I couldn't. I wonder why.

Kuma Kuma Farm!

Went to Chinese Garden after her SP registration thingy. (Laptop!) Initially was tired and planned to go there to sleep. But I remembered there's a turtle and tortoise farm, so I suggested going there. She reluctantly tagged, because she's tired. =(


It was quite a distance from the entrance of Chinese Garden. And because we didn't know the exact location, our only help was the signs all along the side of the path. Eventually we reached, so who cares.


Admission fee is $5. And they never state the admission fee on the signs they put all along the side of the path (WTF? trying to cheat our feelings right?)


Entered the place, and what greeted were tons of different specie of turtles and tortoises in their respective tanks.


What caught my eye was the biggest tortoise i've ever seen:


Doesn't look convincing here, but what the heck, go there and see for yourself (5$ admission).

The same species, but smaller in size. It's just beside the granddaddy tortoise.


There's another separate enclosure not far from these, also big in size.


Well, I say the main attraction is the tons of tortoises in the small pond, complete with a bridge with a good bird eye's view (although not that high) of the tortoises. And the cute thing is, they'll follow you wherever you go! Haha.



Guess who's hand?

These tortoise can climb! So be careful if you're sitting on the bridge. Who knows any one of them might be lurking from behind and just waiting to bite your ass.

They're heavy too. ><

Feeding is optional, but highly recommended, because it's fun. The food pack costs only $1. It's quite a lot in the packet. Even fishes come to eat the food that is mainly for the tortoises.

Stayed there until closing time. We left the place satisfied. =)

T3

Went to check out the new terminal at Changi Airport.

Welcome to Terminal 3. Blah.

It's just a mirror image of Terminal 1/2, but bigger. There's a mall inside as well!

Seeing Terminal 2 in the distance.

It's very breezy outside too.
You'll be shivering if you stand at one spot for a long time, so I was moving all the time.

Double Dated

Me and Gombak went on a double date with Marina Bay and Khatib.
Met Gombak and Marina Bay at Bukit Gombak station. Then met Khatib at Ang Mo Kio platform.
Marina Bay and Khatib have been virtual friends for over 2 years and this is the first time they've met. Khatib has a great personality. Chatty and funny at the same time.

Went to Dhoby Ghaut's Plaza Singapura initially to watch Step Up 2: The Streets but tickets were sold out and the next timeslot doesn't seem to fit. So me and Gombak went to watch The Water Horse since she's been wanting to watch that. Then Na Bay and Khatib went to watch 10000 BC.

Critic for The Water Horse:
Boring at the start, but it gets dramatic towards the end. For some reason it reminds of Free Willy (the part where Crusoe had to jump across the metal net).
Cute too.

Went to jam at the arcade nearby and I finally managed to pass a song with bass!
Fire (Long Version) Lvl 60.
Played again but failed Liar (lvl 43) w/ bass. =(

Na Bay lost her camera, which is a sad thing because there were many pictures taken with her toy camera but it disappeared in the cinema.

By the time we were at the platform on the way home it was nearing 8pm. Took the red line all the way back to Jurong East. Said goodbye to Khatib when train reached Ang Mo Kio.

Somewhat slept in the train for the rest of the journey, with Gombak beside me. Till Na Bay woke us up at Bukit Gombak.

Sent Gombak back, kissed goodbye.

Best Day Of My Life

Was supposed to go to Sentosa with dearie today, but she called last minute to say she got work. So okay, it dampened my mood for the rest of the day. The day i've been looking forward to. thought I would be rotting at home as usual, until I got an SMS from Jo, inviting me to join Don, Najib and her to Sentosa. I was VERY reluctant to go, but after some persuasion from dearie and Jo herself, I got myself ready.

Things happened without reason.
My jaw was hurtful for no reason.
My leg was hurtful for no reason.
I was shivering much more than usual for no reason.

Oh well. managed to get to Harbour Front eventually. I waited at the monorail gates, shivered abit. I wasn't feeling like myself.

After waiting for eons, the trio came. Jo came and passed me the ticket. I passed through, took the monorail, emoing all the way to Beach station. Jo tried to cheer me up. It didn't work.

Walked to Palawan Beach, then was on the bridge, rocking our way across. Then Najib asked me,"Eh Fi, you got see there on the beach got something. Can see?"

Then I looked across. There, I saw, written very hugely, were the words, " HAPPY BIRTHDAY FIFI ♥ Lon Vig Hua Jib Don Jo Min Fie(?)"

I was surprised, but I wasn't still as happy beause dearie wasn't there.

Crossed the bridge, greeted by Delon, Rui Hua,and crab. Saw Vig at a distance. They all greeted me and wished me happy birthday. Went to look at crabs. Haha.

Directed to the mat, and that's where the surprise comes in. Dearie came rushing out of nowhere, with Kuma Kuma, as well as Limin, with a mountain of Double Chocolate donuts from Donut Factory.

They sabo-ed me with relighting candles, and the top one (with most of my saliva) was mine.

It took me a long time to absorb everything.

Started up a bit of campfire, soon after left to change, pack up and off to Vivo for dinner.

Ate at Food Republic (excluive only to RP students, and those related).
Haha bullshit.

Went to charcoal after that. It was nearing 10 after that, so me and dearie took bus 188 back home. It was tiring.

Free ticket to Sentosa (valid for 1 day) thanks to Jo.


Levi's Boxers from Eunice and Li Min.


and handcrafted roses made by dearie herself =)


Thanks alot you guys for the presents, and especially dearie for taking 3 weeks to plan the surprise birthday party. =D


Things that I wanted to do but I didn't:
Swim
Wear my sandals and catch crabs
Wear my clothes that I wanted to wear when I'm on the beach.
Use my digital camera and take tons of pics (compensated with Li Min and dearie's handphone cameras)


Even though I didn't manage to swim, I still got wet. Thanks to dearie for dragging me onto the sand, and Li Min, Rui Hua and Delon for throwing me into the sea. Haha.


My verdict:

2 thumbs up for the well-planned birthday surprise. And the comfy boxers.

How I wish I could go back to 4th March again and bring my big bag instead. But it's memorable, whichever you see it.
